E-Reader Differences
What the best E-reader is all depends on what you think. Many people think that the Amazon Kindle is the best, while others think that Nook
is the best e-Reader. And others think that using the tablet is the best. Everyone has different opinions on the matter, the topic is open to debate. But, here is different advantages to different e-readers, the Kindle, Sony E-reader and the Nook. All these e-readers are around the same price range but they all have different features that the other e-readers do not have. All the versions on the Sony E-Reader (Reader Pocket Edition, Reader Touch Edition and Reader Daily Edition) are lighter than the Nook and only one of the versions is heavier than the Kindle, making it one of the lightest e-readers out there. It's handy for people that don't like to be holding the heavy books or the heavy e-readers, and now they can carry around something that is very light. The Sony E-Reader is the only e-reader that has a full touch anti-glare screen and also has adjustable brightness, which is useful if you don't want the screen to be to light or be to dim. Another feature that isn't in any other E-Readers is the translation dictionary which translates words of other languages for you. The Amazon Kindle has a fairly large screen ranging from 6 inch all the way to 9.7 inch. All of the Kindle editions can store up to 3,500 books which is useful because you won't have to be constantly getting rid of books and if you are reading multiple books at one you don't have to be carrying two or three books you only have to carry around one little e-reader. The Kindle screen is the easiest screen to read off of (says Amazon.) The Kindle can also support many different types of files and you can listen to audio books. The last e-reader being compared is the Nook. The Nook is also all touchscreen while the Kindle isn't because the Kindle includes a form of the keyboard. For the Nook you just have to tap the screen to turn the page and then it quickly turns. It's fast and easy. The Nook memory can also expand all the way up to 32 GB and can support PDFs. There is an edition of the Nook called the Nook Color which can be turned into a light version of the tablet. Overall, all these e-readers have their similarities and their differences but it's your opinion on which e-reader is the best. E-Reader vs. Tablet |
E-readers are designed to read books (even though now most e-readers can do a little more than that) while Tablets are more complicated, they can play games, watch videos and much more.

E-reader's and Tablets are very different. E-reader's are designed not to cause eye strain when reading for long periods of time while Tablet's are designed to only be used a hour or so at a time and if you try to read on a tablet most likely you will get eye strain. Many people prefer something light to carry around, which the e-reader can do for you but the tablet isn't much heavier and can do much more. A tablet has an outstanding web-browsing ability while the e-reader doesn't have a very good ability and you'll probably be waiting a long time to get onto the internet. If you are a big video watcher then the tablet would be more your speed, for two reasons, amazing video playback and it is in color. Not many people in this day and age like to watch things in black an white. A downfall of the tablet is the cost, the e-reader is much cheaper and if all you really want to do is read, the e-reader is more your speed.
There are many differences between the Tablet and E-Reader. Many people prefer the tablet because they are always browsing the internet and/or always watching videos and only the tablet can support that, Still other's prefer the E-Reader because all they want to do is read and the E-reader fits that perfectly because it is designed for reading. The choice is all up to you over which on you want. The E-reader or the Tablet.
